What’s better than a cozy Fall family portrait session?! The leaves are officially changing colors and the weather is finally cooling off. This is my favorite time of year to capture family photos. Here in Pa, mid-October is the peak for Fall foliage.
I had the chance to really explore one of my favorite local photo spots this Autumn. It was the perfect opportunity to try new things and experiment with different backgrounds. This family truly understood the assignment went it came to choosing outfits. They followed my Style Guide to a T and mom even reached out to me to ask for suggestions. I love mom’s patterned dress paired with dad’s staple sweater. The boys wore different flannel patterns and their daughter wore the cutest corduroy dress. I love how organic and natural their outfits looked. It matched our candid photo gallery so effortlessly
We started off our family photos with some cuddly poses on my knit blanket and even tried a tickle fight prompt. Some of my favorite shots were walking along the quiet roadway. Something about it screamed Fall and felt so unique. We also adventured along the creek for some photos under the steel grate bridge. This is a spot that I hardly ever photograph at, but I’m so glad I did. These new locations added so much variety and fun to the final gallery.
This Blandon area family made the trip out to the quaint Boyertown for their epic Fall family session. If you’re looking for natural, adventurous, and colorful family portraits in the Berks County area- let’s chat!
