We’re in the thick of the Fall photo season! I’ve been having SO much fun meeting new families and reconnecting with return clients. The Bause family is back for their 4th family session with me! I cannot believe it’s been over a year since our very first photo session in Cape May, NJ. I’ve come a long way since then and so has this family! Little Wyatt isn’t so little anymore and both Sarah and Maeve have newborns. I feel so grateful that I get to watch this family grow and capture it all!

We met at the Daniel Boone Homestead for a Sunday evening session. I arrived just in time for golden hour at 5:30pm after commuting from Ironstone Park in Boyertown for my yearly Fall Mini Sessions. It was a busy day, but I couldn’t be more excited to photograph this family. They are truly one of my biggest supporters! We began our session in an easily accessible area for the great grandparents. They came in for the big group photo and a few with their daughter, Amy. We wanted to give them the opportunity to leave early so they didn’t have to walk far at all. Accessibility is always something I consider when grandparents are included!

After the grandparents made their way home, we started our walk further into the homestead. My favorite spot is a bit deeper into the park, but is so worth it! I love the grassy field and the way the sun sets behind the trees. It makes for the perfect family portraits.

We transitioned from photos of each individual family, mommy and me portraits, Wyatt’s photos, grandparents, and finally the full family again. This group chose the Golden Collection which gives us an hour of photography time. This allows me so much room for creativity and organic moments. Some of my favorite photos of the evening were the couples shots of Sarah and Andrew. They truly leaned into each pose and prompt I gave them. Because they’ve become so comfortable with me, their poses came off so effortless. These photos radiate love and warmth!

Having the chance to see this family is always the highlight of my evening! They’re pros at outfit choosing, wonderfully thoughtful clients, and above all else- they trust me and my vision. I can’t wait for our next family photo session!
